I will work to support maritime jobs, make higher education affordable, improve health care, and protect our environment. I passed a bill creating the Legislative Task Force on Economic Resilience of Maritime and Manufacturing. We froze higher education tuition for two years. One of my bills allows skilled, licensed healthcare workers from outside Washington to volunteer here. My bill qualifying liquid biomass as renewable energy helps us fight climate change.
